About the role | Mō Te Tūranga

The purpose of this role is to maintain, operate and upgrade the stormwater network to ensure it functions to its optimal level. To do this you will:

  • Carry out maintenance activities, like clearing drains and stabilising water banks
  • Responding to customer service requests
  • Operating diggers and excavators
  • Collect water and soil samples, and sending these for testing
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records,
  • Analyse data and escalate data anomalies

About you | Mōu

Ideally you will have knowledge of storm water maintenance and have taken soil and water samples before, key to your success will be that you are/ have:

  • Practical and have the ability to solve problems
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Computer literate and with strong data entry skills
  • A class 2 driver's licence
  • Tracks and rollers certified
