About the role | Mō Te Tūranga
The purpose of this role is to maintain, operate and upgrade the stormwater network to ensure it functions to its optimal level. To do this you will:
- Carry out maintenance activities, like clearing drains and stabilising water banks
- Responding to customer service requests
- Operating diggers and excavators
- Collect water and soil samples, and sending these for testing
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records,
- Analyse data and escalate data anomalies
About you | Mōu
Ideally you will have knowledge of storm water maintenance and have taken soil and water samples before, key to your success will be that you are/ have:
- Practical and have the ability to solve problems
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Computer literate and with strong data entry skills
- A class 2 driver's licence
- Tracks and rollers certified
