About the role | Mō Te Tūranga

Working as a Stormwater Engineer will put you at the forefront of the creation and ongoing operation of our community's critical infrastructure, with a direct influence on the form and shape of our urban and rural environment.

You will be involved in stormwater management planning, consultation, and the scheduling of capital expenditure for our stormwater systems. You will be working a defined area of responsibility on projects with drainage and flooding elements.

You will play a key role in providing technical expertise for the planning and implementation of best-practice stormwater management systems and work within a multi-disciplinary team of like-minded professionals.

The role will encompass development of hydrological and hydraulic models, reports, and other documentation.

This is a permanent full-time position and is based in our Amberley Office, 40 minutes north of Christchurch. No more traffic when commuting to work or parking hassles. We also have an established carpool system from Christchurch.

You are a self-starter with great ideas and an enquiring mind who enjoys seeking innovative solutions.

You communicate and manage time well and have a good eye for detail. A recognised engineering qualification to the role and experience in provision of stormwater is well regarded.
