Programme Delivery Manager
Come and make a big difference to the people of Hurunui district and lead this newly established team.
This new, key position will manage the entire capital work portfolio, it will establish long term contracts and oversight of those contracts as they progress. You will ensure our customer levels of service are exceeded and the existing solid relationships with our contractors are enhanced. This is a significant role so has a high degree of focus and visibility.
You will work with a variety of teams, communities and long term plans to transform ideas and strategic objectives into reality. Establishing well-constructed accurate plans for the next 3 years, it will provide a clear pathway for our communities to see their expectations and desires becoming real.
What you need
You will possess excellent communication skills, have an innovative approach to new methods of working, be able to succinctly and clearly document working procedures in preparation of handover to operations and work well with contractors and a range of stakeholders. Successful experience in project or contract management is necessary and roading or civil engineering qualification will be highly regarded.

The Hurunui is a large, rural district comprising of small townships and settlements and a widespread network of roads utility infrastructure, property and reserves.
