About the role | Mō Te Tūranga

You will be at the forefront of maintaining and developing our critical water infrastructure. Your core reposabilities includes:

  • Modelling water supplies and wastewater networks to assess impacts and identify necessary changes.
  • Developing comprehensive project scopes, accurate budgets, and designs for approval.
  • Providing expert technical advice for capital works, ensuring compliance with standards, and contributing to the revision of Development Engineering Standards.
  • Championing a customer-centric culture and fostering partnerships within the organisation.
  • Ensuring adherence to all health and safety policies, prioritizing the safety of yourself and others.

About you | Mōu

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in three waters engineering.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in civil engineering or extensive experience in the three waters sector.
  • Extensive knowledge of hydraulics processes and/or water and wastewater treatment processes.
  • Good working knowledge of AutoCAD, water modelling, and GIS software.
  • Experience working in or with local government.
