About the role | Mō Te Tūranga

This is a newly established role, providing guidance and advice on asset performance along with supporting the development of plans to improve and enhance our Three Waters network.

Leading the preparation of all asset management documentation for the Council, while being the technical expert and team leader providing day-to-day technical support and direction to the team.

About you | Mōu

You will bring a strong understanding of three water management and industry best practise, ideally gained from working in or with local government.

Ensuring your success will be:

  • Extensive knowledge and application of asset databases and their outputs
  • Experience in producing inputs for activity management plans
  • Ability to influence and negotiate to an effective result
  • Tertiary qualification in civil engineering / equivalent experience
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
  • Proficient interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong problem solver with a growth mindset
