    • Monday 9.30am - 1.45pm or
    • Friday 9.30am - 1.45pm

About the role | Mō Te Tūranga

Providing great customer service while facilitating the efficient and safe public use of our Hanmer Transfer Station.

It's a varied role, that has a good mix of administrative and customer service tasks that include;

  • Operating the weighbridge kiosk
  • Managing traffic flow
  • Monitoring the 24/7 drop off area
  • Payment handling (Eftpos and Cash)
  • Daily cash-ups
  • Attend to customer queries

About you | Mōu

Along with your strong customer service skills you would bring;

  • Strong attention to detail and record keeping ability
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills
  • Availability to work during weekends and holiday periods
  • Familiarity with EFTPOS and point of sale technologies
  • Training to use the weighbridge will be provided

Please note that some flexibility around working hours is needed as we may occasionally need to open the site on alternative days due to public holidays or adverse weather.

Availability for extra shifts during holiday and busy periods is also highly desirable, along with the ability to provide cover for the team in Hanmer Springs.
